A return to client meetings at our offices

Stuart Crook 01/11/2021 2 minute read

Stuart Crook FCA, explains some of the new protocols as Wellers welcome in-person meetings for clients at our offices again.

For some time now we have had staff back in the office on a regular basis. To ensure this was done as safely as possible, we undertook a risk assessment from a health & safety service provider. It meant we could then organise our offices in such a manner that would allow a return to normal working practices whilst best managing the risks posed by COVID-19.

To date, the protocols that we have implemented have worked well, our staff undertaking a mix of working remotely and in the office every week. This means our attention has now turned to having in-person meetings at our offices for clients once more.

Our aim is to welcome clients back onsite from Monday 1 November 2021.

As part of this, please note:

  • Visits are by appointment only, you'll need to book in a meeting with the partner, or member of your service team
  • Be sure to let us know if you would like the person you're meeting with to wear a face mask, we have face masks available in the offices should you need one
  • If you are showing symptoms of COVID-19 then please don't come to the offices and instead re-arrange your meeting

In line with the risk assessment we undertook:

  • There is a maximum number of people per meeting room depending on the size, please consult the partner or team member for this, to ensure safe social distancing is maintained
  • Where possible, windows will be kept open to allow for ventilation
  • In the Oxford and Banbury offices, a new intercom system will be used to allow you access to our premises

We understand that the situation in relation to COVID is a dynamic one with government guidelines subject to change. If things do alter, that demand restrictions to onsite meetings, we'll be sure to communicate how this will work, if at all, through this blog post.
